Dr. Florence Comite is a clinician-scientist and innovator in the field of precision medicine, internationally known for her expertise in leveraging N-of-1 data to detect, predict, and reverse disorders of aging for optimal health and vitality. In 2005, Dr. Comite founded the Center for Precision Medicine & Health in New York City, where she established a clinically proven, academic approach to personalized health care, structured as a clinical trial. By integrating and interpreting genomic, metabolomic, phenotypic, and digital health data, the Center provides predictive analysis and actionable guidance for the individual patient. Dr. Comite’s global clientele spans the population, from forward-thinking physicians, to jet-setting executives, and self-quantifying millennials. Dr. Comite is a graduate of Yale School of Medicine where she was a faculty member for 25 years, with a triple appointment in Endocrinology (Internal Medicine and Pediatrics) and Reproductive Endocrinology (Gynecology and Andrology). Dr. Comite trained at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, National Institutes of Health (NIH). In 1992, Dr. Comite founded Women’s Health at Yale.
Dr. Comite has published original research in numerous clinical journals and contributes regularly to editorial publications. She speaks to audiences around the world as a sought-after keynote speaker. Meet The Team
Dr. Harriet Comite, a graduate of Yale University School of Medicine, is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. With over 25 years of experience in research and clinical dermatology, Dr. Comite is an expert in diagnosing, treating and preventing a wide variety of skin conditions.
Chris Arboleda is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist. He graduated from Syracuse University with his Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science and minor in Psychology, then went on to earn his Master’s of Science in Exercise Science. Chris is also an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Prior to joining the Comite Center, Chris had clinical and research experience in cardiac rehabilitation and physical therapy settings. He has also designed and implemented sports-specific programs for college teams, as well as personalized, client-specific programs for working professionals. Chris’s passion for wellness and education stems from seeing the powerful role exercise has in transforming health and improving lives.
Chris spent his formative years playing competitive soccer, and in college became a rugby athlete and cheerleader. He still loves to workout, but also enjoys teaching, reading research articles, and occasionally volunteering at a veterinary clinic over the weekend.
Janine Forrestal started her career at Memorial Sloan Kettering, where she served for over five years before joining the Comite team. Janine’s versatility allows her to thrive in her role and tackle the diverse demands that come with each day.
She is dedicated to supporting our clients and our team, and loves learning about new and evolving aspects of medicine.
Janine enjoys going to the beach and reading. Most of all, she delights in spending time with her husband and daughter. On her bucket list—spending a summer traveling Europe and Asia with her family.
Ioana Raica’s passion is working with people in a meaningful way and making a positive impact in the world. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism in Romania, she moved to New York and obtained her Certified Medical Assistant Associates Degree.
Ioana attributes her decision to pursuing a career path in the medical field to the wonderful and rewarding experience she had as an internal medicine medical assistant.
Ioana loves to take on new adventures and challenges. When she is not working at the Comite Center, you can find her working part-time at an animal hospital.

Lauren Klein is a Physician Associate with a passion for a precise and personalized approach to medicine. Lauren completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida, and earned her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University.
Specializing in Internal Medicine for nearly a decade, Lauren joined the Comite Center to further her efforts on shifting the paradigm from treating diseases to preventing them. Her proactive versus reactive approach focuses on longevity by incorporating genetics, epigenetics, biomarkers, and lifestyle factors to provide precise and personalized interventions to optimize an individual’s healthspan.
In her downtime, you can find Lauren spending time with her daughter, at the dog park with her bernedoodle and family, or at her favorite vinyasa yoga class.
Ashley L. Madsen is a Certified Physician Associate, receiving her training at St. Johns University, Stanford University, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition & the Institute for Functional Medicine. Ms. Madsen spent the first 10 years of her career in the surgical subspecialties with affiliations at NYU Langone Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Her interest in preventing and reversing chronic inflammatory disease lead her to precision medicine. She especially enjoys the application of nutritional interventions to improve longevity, body composition, and metabolic optimization. Ms. Madsen is a pilates enthusiast, and coffee lover – you can commonly find her in the park with her black coffee & teacup Yorkie, Sir Harry Winston. Ms. Madsen currently works at the Comite Center for Precision Medicine & Health in New York, New York, and Palo Alto, California.

Before joining the Comite Center, Sydney worked at the Human Performance Laboratory at Syracuse University, specializing in the cardiovascular system. She has extensive experience in nutrition, gut-microbiome, and vascular physiology research. She was also a two-sport collegiate athlete and marathon runner, splitting her time between soccer and track and field. Sydney previously worked with Syracuse Universities Strength and Conditioning department with several different teams and athletes. She joined the Comite Center to further her passion for maximizing individual health and wellness while joining a team that takes a precise approach to personalized medicine.

His interest in precision medicine arose at an early age as this field tailors care to each person’s unique health story. At the Comite Center, Aman hopes to learn how precision medicine curates an accurate health care plan customized for each individual. He is passionate about helping others regardless of circumstance, as well as promoting an immediate positive impact on people.
In his free time, Aman enjoys playing tennis, photography, traveling, and trying new restaurants in New York City.
Osher Kedar has been responsible for financial oversight at the Comite Center for Precision Medicine since 2010. He is the founder of, and a principal in, an Israeli accounting firm that specializes in developing businesses. He previously served as an auditor and Internal Control Project Manager in Israel and as CFO of an industrial company. Osher received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and earned his Certified Public Accountant license.
Joseph F. Tarantino is the Director of Finance at the Comite Center of Precision Medicine. In addition to owning his own business for twenty-two years, Joseph has held senior financial management positions with several publicly and privately held companies in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. His day-to-day activities cover accounting, business planning, forecasting, and financial management to support our Clinical Centers in New York, California, and Florida. Joseph holds an MBA in financial management and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Barbara Blum is responsible for finance, accounting, and bookkeeping at the Comite Center. She studied law at the University of San Carlos and business administration at the University of Mariano Galvez in her native Guatemala.
Barbara has worked with Dr. Comite for over twenty-five years. She was part of the founding of Comite Center and has been invaluable in growing the company into what it is today.
Barbara possesses a joie de vivre that is expressed in her positivity and love of dance. She would one day love to travel to Israel, Switzerland, and Argentina.

Andi Hanken served in the healthcare industry for over fifteen years prior to joining the Comite Center team. She began her career at the New York Presbyterian healthcare system and later migrated to multi-specialty outpatient care in what is now known as the Mount Sinai Health System.
Andi’s experience and energy has allowed her to thrive in her role and move our cutting-edge Center toward a greater degree of functionality and efficiency. She holds a passion for putting clients first and ensuring that world class service is maintained throughout the experience.
Outside of work she can be found whipping things up in the kitchen, volunteering at her favourite animal shelter, or trying a new fitness class with friends.
Ellie Reilly works in administration to support the Center across multiple platforms and has a constant willingness to help the clients and team. She graduated from Ithaca College, where she obtained a BA in Economics. Prior to joining the Comite Center, Ellie held positions in relationship management in the financial services and design fields for 18 years respectively.
Ellie believes in the mission of the Comite Center and that the traditional doctor-patient platform does not provide clients with what they really need to stay ahead of their health for the long term.

Emma Bednarski has graduated from Tufts University with a degree in Biology and is on a pre-medicine track. She has always been interested in the mechanisms of the human body and how they translate to an individual’s day to day lifestyle.
She loves working at the Comite Center because it provides the unique opportunity to work with clients in a broad range of medical fields. Emma’s passion and interest in taking care of others comes from her experience teaching dance to children and experiencing first hand how health can affect a variety of everyday tasks.
When not in the office, Emma enjoys spending time with her family in New Jersey or taking online dance classes. She plans to apply to medical school in the near future and is excited to incorporate what she learns here into her future medical career.
Luna Kim earned her BS in Health: Science, Society, and Policy, in addition to a BA in Biology from Brandeis University. She desires to make a positive impact on the health and lives of others. Luna became fascinated with Precision Medicine and how the Comite Center’s approach focuses so closely on the client. She believes that this is a place where she can help make a difference in the lives of many people and learn how to do so with a truly n-of-1 approach.
In her free time, Luna enjoys drawing, especially portraits of people, and is currently practicing using other mediums. She also loves to travel and immerse herself in the culture of her destination by going to museums and indulging in local cuisine.
